What to expect as an Employer at an Oregon Tech Career Fair:

In-Person 人才招聘会往往会 are located on the Klamath Falls or Portland-Metro campuses. 摊位包括一张桌子和两把椅子. A tablecloth will be provided if you do not bring your own. A sign on your table will include your company name, booth number and student check-in QR code. Parking and refreshments are included with employer registration fees. Nametags will be provided for representatives that provided their name, title, and company to 职业服务 at least 2 days prior to the event. Representatives who are also alumni of Oregon Tech will be signified on their nametags.

学生 at Oregon Tech are encouraged to attend our 职业服务 events. Therefore, you may see 学生 within their freshman or sophomore years.  学生 will receive nametags indicating their name, 主要的, and school year for easier identification. Please take a moment to chat with all our 学生 as they navigate the career fair and learn valuable networking skills.

What to expect as a Student or 校友 at an Oregon Tech Career Fair:

人才招聘会往往会 are the best place to connect with employers who may have job or internship opportunities and build your professional network. 不管你是哪个年级的, this is a great opportunity to learn about employers in your field and practice networking skills.

准备: 视图 握手 for the list of attending employers. Take time to research the employers you are most interested in and prepare a few questions you can ask to find out more about the opportunities their organization offers. Meet with 职业服务 or attend a Prepare for the Fair workshop and create your resume. Be sure to bring a few printed resumes to the career fair. Show your potential employer that you understand and respect professional conduct by wearing neat clothing in line with your industry norms.

在集市上: 职业服务 will provide a nametag for 学生 at most career fairs. Be sure your name, 主要的 and school year are up to date in 握手. Wear your nametag on either the right or left side of your body near your shoulder for easy visibility.

Be sure to introduce yourself to employers and ask the questions you prepared or the questions that are appropriate during your interaction with them. This is an chance to learn more about opportunities available in your area of interest.

Grab business cards/contact info for recruiters and be sure to send a follow-up email with those that you connected with.
